(Kjell Atle Halvorsen ) The integration of ICT in education is changing the landscapes of schools, challenging leaders and teacher to develop new competencies and teaching strategies. Blog and wiki are so-called web 2.0 applications, and as such part of the new curriculum for teachers as well as students. A workplace learning project based on the use of blog and wiki involving a teacher training institution and an upper secondary school will be discussed.

Abstract from session moderator:
The method described, was developed when Kjell Atle received whishes from different clients, to develop new teaching methods integrating ITC. The consultant wanted to motivate the teachers to use the technology in an innovative way to meet the need for development in a vocational upper secondary school. The consultant wished to involve both teachers and students in the process. By using wikis and blogs this was possible. Not totally successful but the consultant would like to use the method again.Material from the presenter:
