Introduction

Web 2.O is a term that has been used in the last few years to express what some people experience as a fundamental change to how the Web works and is used. Technologies in web-programming have made it easier for people to cooperate, share information and desseminate materials.

Some think that this technology will in turn change the way we do business! (See for example"Wikinomics" (and: Wikinomics.com, Wikinomics Wiki; Business Week Article)

For us this new technology is interesting as it brings new possibilities to learning.
It will be interesting to study how these technologies will effect learning in the workplace,workplace, and in other places where adults gather to learn. We will need to ask our selves:
  • What competences will our adult-educators need in order to use Web 2.0 tools to benefit the learners?
  • How can we support the usefull use of these technologies in adult education?
  • Will adult learning get any better with the use of these tools?
