The Course Hub-an infrastructure for digital learning resources on the net
Ulf Sandström, project leader CFL, Sweden

We all want to do things in our own way. Teachers want to use open content available free of use for all. They want to compose, rearrange, develop, cut and paste, reuse and create content and implement it in new learning context. In the presentation we show examples of how digital learning resources from the Course Hub is implemented in ICT supported flexible lifelong learning. New functions in the repository will be shown as tools for video and test production.
Abstract from session moderator:
You can easily become a Course Hub user and network with and support us:

Login as : testuser
Password : cfl
Outcomes of the use of the Course Hub:
1. Broad - We can today give courses in many levels of subjects (f ex languages) and use only one teacher. Before we couldn´t accommodate the students wishes due to lack of learning resources.
2. Depth- Increase quality of student outcome due to indivualization of course material
3. Networking with other teachers in content development
4. Reuse earlier investments in course materials
5. Increase the knowledge in use of ICT and use of digital learning resources. We must learn more about the use of digital learning resources, though its an innovative arena. Active sharing of experience is important for knowledge building and ability to support best practice.
So what will be the future to come?
In 10 years we will have international content repository network filled with high quality Learning objects that support both teacher and student learnings .
Increase the possibility for students to get the right education at the right moment. With that said I would like to invite you to this Course hub community to share, to learn and to contribute.
