Abstract from session moderator:

Three lecturers presented a project they had worked on together the partners were the Building Industries Organization, the Copenhagen University and the consultant firm Motto Captura. Together they developed a PDA that the workers can use to read documents and plans and translate the information into spoken words that they are able to listen to as they read the text. The program also serves as a reading aid and trains the users reading abilities. In Denmark around 20% of unskilled labor have reading problems and this project is aimed to this target group.
