Hello from the UK!
I work in Information Development for a 13-19 youth support service in Nottingham. My role is to enable young people to access and understand how to use our ICT resources as part of their career planning. I work mostly in 11-18 schools, but also with training providers and the youth services across the county. The key to enabling young people to use ICT resources effectively, is to train the staff working with them, this includes Tutors in school as well as our Personal Advisers working one to one with young people.

My major interest is in e-learning in its widest sphere. I am heavily involved with rolling out our personal development e-portfolio for young people 'Passportfolio', as well as exploring the potential of Web 2.0, staff ICT skills building and web accessibility.
